  • Rights for Children of Prisoners (Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur)

    Community members come together to create a safe, joyous space for children of women who are under trial, in the form of a crêche within the prison where their mothers live. Join the circles in the locations listed above, or ask this group of six incredible women about starting one in your city. Get involved here.

  • Dignity & Rights of Ragpickers (Mumbai, Alibag)

    More than 1.5 million ragpickers provide a vital service to the country–cleaning up a significant proportion of the 62 million tonnes of waste generated annually in India. Yet they are marginalized rather than applauded for their contribution to society. Join this compassionate listening session on 10 June in Alibag, which combines a beach clean-up, community art project, and a conversation about their daily experience to plan joint action to advocate for informal worker rights.   • Mental Health & Wellbeing for Frontline Workers

    Deepika & Vasundhara have created a support network for 200 frontline workers across NGO sectors, who work on issues like gender-based violence, human trafficking, and climate change. The circle provides tools to boost mental health and address community worker burnout. Tools and technique-centric sessions support those at the front lines to care for themselves and preserve their ability to do demanding work. Indicate your interest in working with them.

  • Advocacy for Diversity and Inclusion in India (Virtual, International)

    Design and lead a remote campaign for marginalized Indian youth, so that higher education institutions and companies take diversity and inclusion-related specific action in order to make employment and education more accessible to groups typically sidelined.

  • Inclusion & Belonging for Neurodiverse Teens & Their Families (Mumbai)

    Moneisha and Gopika are starting this community to create inclusive social spaces for teens with disabilities to create vibrant peer networks. Mothers of neurodiverse teens themselves, they strive to center joy to combat exclusion, and create spaces for celebration and inclusion.

  • Students Supporting Labour Rights of Domestic Workers (Mumbai, Bangalore)

    This action circle strives to raise awareness about ways that employers can support labour rights of their domestic workers. Led by Aneesh (age 17), Arushi (age 17), and Geetika (age 14). Information campaigns and advocacy efforts equip domestic workers with more awareness of their rights, and bargaining power.

  • Participatory Mental Health Research by Adolescents, for Adolescents (Virtual)

    Students across India lead this research project to report on the mental health issues that are most important to high school students, such as exam stress, bullying, and gender rights.

  • Enabling Non-Violent Communication for Human Rights (Coming Soon)

    Ranjitha facilitates a session to help participants learn tools to peacefully and effectively resolve conflicts in personal, organizational, and political settings.

  • Combating Hate Speech & Bullying Online (Virtual)

    Vaishnavi (age 17) has launched 1k2k, an initiative to encourage compassionate, fact-based communication to address hate speech on social media. Trained volunteers are tapped to meet hate speech with balanced counter-arguments. Join the team as a volunteer.

  • Brainstorming Solutions to Enable Inclusive Employability for Youth in India

    Young people have the opportunity to support Priya Agrawal, Founder of the Antarang Foundation, on a new initiative to level the playing field for youth employees in India. 4 virtual brainstorms on Zoom, with option to contribute long-term in-person. Sign up here.
